Early Childhood Coordinator

The Orange County Partnership for Young Children seeks a coordinator to implement strategies designed to increase the number of children starting kindergarten healthy and ready to learn. The position will work primarily with NC Pre-K and child health programs. Position is responsible for data management; training/technical assistance/coaching for child care directors and staff; information services and outreach; and program evaluation.

Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience and Early Childhood Certification Level 11 required. Minimum of 2 years training/technical assistance with TA endorsement preferred.

Experience with NC Pre-K and/or Smart Start programs desired. Knowledge of or training experience with Be Active Kids, GO NAPSACC, outdoor learning environments, and/or STEAM education a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; creativity and flexibility; data entry accuracy; ability to work independently and with teams and engage effectively with community partners; technology proficiency.
