Orange County Partnership for Young Children North Carolina Smart Start

Volunteer

The Partnership needs your assistance to help ensure that all children arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. We rely on community volunteers to guide and support community agencies that are serving young children and families. Here are three ways you can volunteer:

  • Provide administrative support at the Partnership's office. We need help with mailings, organizing our database, setting up meetings, and other office tasks.
  • Provide assistance planning, coordinating or working in some of our fun booths during one of our community events.
  • Work directly with families or young children. Volunteer to work with one of our funded programs providing child care, child health, or family support. Build a playground, read Dr. Seuss stories, organize a toy drive….the opportunities are endless. Please contact the organization directly. For contact information visit Our Programs page.

For more information about volunteer opportunities please contact the Orange County Partnership for Young Children at 919-967-9091 or ocpyc@orangesmartstart.org.
