• The Partnership annually produces Smart Start Family Fest, a day of fun and learning for the community’s parents of young children.  The Partnership involves over 30 different community agencies to provide information and activities for parents at Family Fest.  Each year, we partner with another event taking place in the county.  In past years, we have partnered with Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools, Carrboro Day/Town of Carrboro, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department, and Triangle SportsPlex.
  

• Each year, The Partnership sponsors the Young Children's Art Contest for the public focusing on the themes of family and community.  The contest is open to all young children in Orange County.  The Young Children's Art Show is a fun way to involve the community and recognize the importance of early childhood learning.  The children's art will be mounted and displayed throughout the county during the year.  The tour opens and closes with a community event. 

• The Partnership produces and distributes The Parents Pages which is guide to Orange County Services for Young Children and Their Families.  The guide is distributed free of charge through community agencies, public events, and at local libraries, pediatrician offices and other locations throughout the county.
