Growing Up Green: A Conservation Curriculum for Young Children

This four-unit series builds concepts to increase children’s awareness and appreciation for the beauty and essential resources that Planet Earth provides. Through these units, children will increase their knowledge and understanding of our dependence on Earth’s resources. Students will explore and problem-solve about how people can protect and preserve Earth’s resources. Children will have opportunities to connect with the natural world for their health and well-being, while also building a foundation that will allow them to take necessary actions to protect and conserve the health of Earth’s ecosystems and climate.
